It’s not every day you see a 15 metre long, 17 tonne truck being pulled through the main street of Manly, but that’s exactly what happened on the afternoon of Wednesday 3rd March 2021, with Australian strongman Troy Conley pulling a URM truck 25 metres and raising five thousand dollars for charity.
The 25 metre truck pull was all part of the Manly Sea Eagles 2021 Season Launch with the 25 metre distance representing URM’s 25 years of partnership with the Club.
Sea Eagles players including Daly Cherry-Evans, Tom Trbojevic, Kieran Foran and Club Legend Brett Stewart were all on hand to cheer in support, whilst Foran even helped Conley with his rope.
URM Managing Director, Anthony Johnston congratulated Conley on completing the 25 metre truck pull and announced that URM would be donating five thousand dollars to Little Wings children’s charity, just one of the many charities that Conley continues to help raise awareness and funds for.
